A useful report lets a manager understand what happened, assess the evidence and decide what to do next.
Start with the scenario and scope
State the shopper profile, channel, agreed objectives and assessment limits. Record the date and duration, and describe any deviation from the brief. This gives the reader context before seeing scores or findings.
Describe the interaction in sequence
Separate the customer’s request, the staff member’s response and the resulting next step. Identify whether an observation comes from a recording, supporting material or shopper notes; avoid presenting recollection as a verbatim quotation.
Connect findings to agreed criteria
For each finding, identify the expected standard, observed behaviour, evidence reference and review required. Use “not observed” when the interaction did not allow a criterion to be assessed, rather than automatically failing it.
Close with practical follow-up
Summarise strengths and issues that need validation, clarification or coaching. The client should determine accountability and any compliance consequences. Reports are included only where specified in the programme.
Discuss your assessment
Tell us your objectives, locations and preferred deliverables. We will help define a practical scope.
